The Mountune Racing MRD270 package for the Ford Fiesta Zetec S consists of:
• K&N high-flow panel filter
• Revised engine calibration
• Mountune Racing badge 
The Mountune MRD270 upgrade has been developed for the Zetec-S 1.6-litre TDCi variant of the Mk6 Fiesta and is the first diesel performance kit to be launched under the Mountune banner.
With expert diesel calibrators involved in the kits development you can be assured of the usual OE-like feel and quality whilst increasing the vehicle's performance.
Hardware changes are relatively minimal in the form of a K&N panel filter replacement, but combined with the knowledge encompassed in the Mountune teams’ MRD270 calibration, the performance improvement, drivability and fuel economy have all been substantialy improved throughout the rev-range.
The general drivability and driver enjoyment will see a marked improvement and with 270Nm available, overtaking is now also much safer with in-gear acceleration improved by 15%.
Once upgraded typical power output is increased to 115PS, with 270Nm torque.
As with all Mountune upgrades the supplied hardware benefits from a 12-month, 12,000 mile warranty against manufacturing defects and competitive insurance quotes are available through our partner, Greenlight Insurance.

- MRD270
Q. Can I get the MRD270 installed at my local Ford, or PRO Ford dealer?
A. Currently this is not possible. However, as the diesel kit range grows the number of dealerships available to perform upgrades will also expand. Register your interest with your local PRO dealer to find out when it's available.
Q. What fuel economy gains can I expect to see after the upgrade?
A. Fuel economy gains will vary completely based on the original engine condition and driving conditions. Typically we'd expect to see a small improvement in MPG whilst enjoying the benefits of the additional torque and the enhanced drivability.
Q. How do I get an insurance quote on the MRD270, is it be recognised by the ABI?
A. No, MR kits aren't recognised in the same way as MP kits. However, we do have the MRD270 recognised with our insurance partner Greenlight - who don't charge any additional premium for the upgrade.
