The 5.4l engine in the Ford GT has enormous tuning potential and we have extensive experience in this area from minor modifications to full engine builds.

The first stage of tuning is a replacement supercharger pulley which will increase boost levels and raise the power output from the standard 550bhp to around 610bhp. The next step is to replace the throttle body and install a custom tune which will increase power to around 650bhp with a healthy increase in torque too. Fitting a larger supercharger such as the Whipple unit is a bigger step in power gains. The latest 4.0l Whipple unit produces 810bhp and a mighty 950Nm of torque.

We have gone one step further for one of our customers fitting a Hennessey Twin Turbo installation which was producing 1000bhp - not for the faint hearted! 

There are a number of exterior modifications offered for the Ford GT with the single, most dramatic one being the rear bumper delete. This can be achieved in different ways.

Our favourite treatment is known as the "GT Guys" kit. This does not require painting and is entirely reversible if required. Shown in the image above; it replaces the upper and lower rear mesh grilles with a one piece grille that also covers shortened chassis rails. Fog and reverse lights can be relocated behind the grille to achieve a very clean look to the back of the car.

A popular alternative bumper delete is the CDC kit which is similar but retains the exhaust trim surround and utilises a painted plastic panel above the exhaust tailpipes. Both kits require the exhaust tail pipes to be shortened.

In addition, we have repainted GTs to customer specified colour schemes with all paintwork completed to a very high standard. We can also paint wheels and other detail parts of the car too.
