Ford GT Power Upgrades

The 5.4l engine in the Ford GT has enormous tuning potential. We have extensive experience in this area from minor modifications to full engine builds. The first stage of tuning is a replacement supercharger pulley which will increase boost levels and raise the power output from the standard 550bhp to around 610bhp.

The next step is to replace the throttle body and install a custom tune which will increase power to around 650bhp with a healthy increase in torque too.

Fitting a larger supercharger such as the Whipple unit is a bigger step in power gains. The latest 4.0l Whipple unit produces 810bhp and a mighty 950Nm of torque.

We have gone one step further for one of our customers fitting a Hennessey Twin Turbo installation which was producing 1000bhp - not for the faint hearted.
